Mya Lidstrom – Head Trainer/owner
Mya Lidstrom, owner and trainer, began her journey young with a strong connection and passion for working with animals and sharing her knowledge. Her initial goal was to increase manners in dogs making them and their owner’s life a bit more fulfilled. After high school, Mya set out to study Animal Science to graduate as a Veterinarian, just to find out that wasn’t exactly ‘it’. With the drive to grow and continue learning she set out studying and work with dogs in a different sense – obedience, manners, and safety through training in everyday life before and in conjunction with Veterinary care.
Her true passion is for those that were breed to work.
In the Name of K9 fully believes the K9 industry is forever developing, therefore Mya will continually be introducing new services.

MEET THE PACK
STELLARSKY WOLFGANG CGC CGCA CGCU NTD ITD ATD ETD

Stella is a 2 year old German Shepherd ball of energy. Stella, originally named Fancy, is a little diamond in the ruff rescue acquired from Murcie’s Mission out of Yakima, WA. We don’t know the full details on the beginning of her life, other than it was to be ended short if Murcie’s Rescue didn’t intervene. We heard word that she was going to be rescued out of her then current life threatening situation and needed a foster. While she was still in holding she began showing her true playful little spit fire self. After a couple meetings, Keenya confirmed this girl was to be our next project to join the pack. Once joining the pack, a suitable name was entrusted, thus came along StellarSky Wolfgang meaning Star Sheltering Wolf’s Journey. Since acquiring Stella she has proven herself again and again with just how amazing someone’s “Trash” can be another persons treasure when just a little bit of hope is given. Stella holds multiple trick tittles, all levels of Canine Good Citizen, and currently working on our tracking and narcotic detection through ASCTI.
KEENYA
Keenya is a 9 year old, Mastiff Mix with an enormous amount of prey drive. She was given to me as a practice dog at the age of 1yr, with quite a few quirks. Since then our bond grew stronger as we pierced through each and every “problem” she came with. Keenya is now on/off leash trained in advanced obedience and currently holds a NTD (Novice Trick Dog) and ITD (Intermediate Trick Dog) title. Keenya is now mostly retired. After helping raise two young dogs, Jake -a Dutch Shepherd- and now Stella, and surviving a paralyzing injury that almost took her life, she still loves to learn new things and work at her own pace.
